28 april Our trip to NewfoundlandHey everyone.Well we got everything ready & left Bradford,Ontario on Friday March 24th @ 7:30 pm.We were suppose to have the car on my dads trailer but it didnt work out that way with all of our stuff.So we took the car off & I drove over 3000 kms all on my own with only 2 stops for small naps & I did it.It was my very first time driving that far of a distance.My dad likes to drive & keep going without stopping to much.Hannah slept almost all the way here.Well we got to North Sydney @ 6:30 am saturday morning but couldnt cross over to Port Aux Basques until sunday morning @ 7 am.There were 80 mile winds & the boats couldnt cross.So we crossed over on sunday morning & OMG it was terrible on the water.We were on the Joseph & Clara Smallwood ship & we couldnt even walk on the ship thats how bad it was.Hannah got really upset & got sick then I got sick & then the both of us slept until we got closer to NFLD.We got to Port Aux Basques around 1 pm.Then we drove for about 6 hours & then hit a major snow storm just outside of Grand Falls.It was the worse snow storm I have ever driven in.It only takes 45 minutes from Grand Falls to my moms house in Campbellton,well it took me 4 hours to get there.Couldnt see anything in front or behind me in the snow storm.We got to my moms house sunday night @ 10:30 pm.We stayed with my mom for a few days & then we got this place.We moved in here on March 31st.I love it here in Lewisporte.I have all of my family & friends close to me & I dont have to go far to get anything or to go & see anyone.It's so much better for Hannah she has her cousins to play with & alot more to meet.We have a park just around the corner where she goes 2 play & run around.There's also a park on the main street just a few minutes drive up the road.I havent had a lot of time to visit many people with all the unpacking & getting settled but we have seen a few & my hubby is getting use to it just like Hannah & me.He has a hard time remembering everyone lol.It will take time for him to remember everyone.But anyway it's 3 in the morning here & I just wanted to tell u about our safe trip to Newfoundland & we are very happy.Good night or I should say good morning & ttyas.

I just got my internet hooked up & wanted to let u all know that we made it to Newfoundland.I will tell u all about it in my next entry.Getting settled in,still alot of work to do but i'm getting it done.
Sorry I wasn't here for Easter.I hope u all had a wonderful Easter & thank u all very much for the Easter prezzies.I will post them as soon as I get time.
